Mtn Dew has been a soda staple in the United States for a long time. With its quintessential lemon-lime flavor, its exceptional taste has cemented its soda supremacy around the country. Though the original flavor is widely popular, real Mtn Dew fans are head-over-heels for one of the company’s exclusive products Baja Blast. This summer, Baja Blast will be coming back to store shelves with an added twist.

For those unfamiliar with Baja Blast, the drink was first launched at Taco Bell exclusively in 2004. Since then, Taco Bell has received droves of customers who would just come to the store to purchase the Mtn Dew beverage. After years of selling the product exclusive at the fast-food chain, the beverage company will now put Baja Blast bottles on shelves nationwide. Over the years, Mtn Dew has teased the release of Baja Blast beverages in stores, with a few limited edition flavors. The company is often inventive with their limited edition sodas, like a blackberry-flavored Baja Blast only sold at Buffalo Wild Wings.

This summer, Mtn Dew is ready to put long-awaited bottles of Baja Blast on consumer shelves. Accompanied by the original flavor are four other distinct beverages for customers to choose from. Baja Blast Zero Sugar is making a significant return for those who are trying to watch their sugar intake. But there are also some flavor upgrades to Baja Blast, including Mango Gem and Baja Gold. Both have tropical-inspired flavors, with Mango Gem being a mix of mango and orange while Baja Gold will have a distinct pineapple taste. See the quartet below.

The final installation of the new limited-edition beverages is a Baja Blast drink with an energy twist. The Mtn Dew Energy Baja Blast will have all the classic flavors of the original soda with added citicoline, zinc, and caffeine to provide an energizing kick. The product will also come with no added sugar, so you can feel guilt-free when enjoying this soda. All four drinks will start to roll out this summer but will only be available for a short period.

On top of all these new flavors being released, Mtn Dew also unveiled the Baja Blast sweepstakes. Known as the Lost Treasures of Baja Island Sweepstakes, the beverage company is letting loyal customers enter for an exclusive prize. The winner will receive another new Baja Blast concoction called the Baja Blast Deep Dive. While Mtn Dew gave flavor profiles for its other limited-edition Baja Blast sodas, the statement regarding the Baja Blast Deep Dive is more cryptic. The company said that the beverage is taking “the classic Baja flavor to new depths,” which doesn’t give away any details about the specific taste.

If you enter the Mtn Dew sweepstakes, winning a new can of Baja Blast won’t be your only possible prize. There are daily rewards for those who enter, with a chance at earning a $1,000 check. To receive the award, all you have to do is purchase one of the new Baja Blast flavors and input the under-cap code on the company’s website. For a chance to win a case of the Baja Blast Deep Dive, you’ll have to enter under-cap codes from all four of Mtn Dew’s newest summer releases.
