See The Grinch-Inspired Grump Trees Now At Trader Joe’s

If you’re the type of person who wants a perfect Christmas tree this year, stop reading. The cost of Christmas trees has skyrocketed and if you’re still debating if fresh or artificial is best for the environment, we’ve found the perfect solutions for you! Economical and adorable, the Trader Joe’s grinch trees are here!
As seen on TikTok and according to Taste of Home, the grinch trees are out for sale again this year and are sure to catch the quirky Christmas lover’s heart. The skinny Evergreen Cypress tree, native to California, is wrapped up and topped with a single red ornament causing the tree to bend, just like the trees in Whoville.
If you’re more of the traditional tree-loving type of person, they have those too in miniature, but … snore! They’re just so expected. Just like the grinch trees, Trader Joe’s traditional trees can be replanted or repotted and can live in your house or backyard forever. Just love, water, and sunshine are required.
Nostalgia marketing is hot right now. Consider buying beer featured in one of the most famous (and hilarious) Christmas movies ever! Brewdog Beer from Christmas Vacation can get on your Christmas list. This very same concept is at work when we see the grinch trees on Trader Joe’s shelves. Warm feelings of happy memories make for good Christmas-time sales.
But it’s not a bah-humbug attitude to take right now! Feeling good is needed, all around the world right now. And remember, Mr. Grinch’s heart grows so big at the end of the story and even his little dog is happy.
See, that feeling right there? That’s why you’re going to go out and buy a grinch tree. Plus, they smell fabulous, and perhaps you won’t have to drag out the artificial one that you’ve been dreading to so do.
For some time now, there have been reports of fresh Christmas trees in short supply, and cutting them down to just sit on the side of the road after the holidays is just downright depressing. You know you’ve seen them. Tinsel stilling hanging on, with the random ornament still attached. Someone cared for that tree at one point.
In our throwaway society, think about downsizing your fresh tree this year and give yourself the gift of green. Plants are very cool and kitschy these days, so you could even give them away as a gift. The Grinch trees are only $8.99 and in this economy, they are something you definitely can’t just walk away from.
So, if you’re having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit this year for one reason or another, grab yourself a Grinch tree–and a plant friend–and throw on some Christmas music. Before you know it, you’ll be dancing around your living room watching White Christmas, listening for a bell, and wishing happiness and joy to all. And to all a good night.
