Tiffany Velasquez is a writer and editor, serving as Team Editor for TELL ME BEST. In addition to her love of writing, Tiffany is a business owner, a trained yoga instructor, a photographer, and an avid painter.

How It Started

Tiffany’s love for writing began at a young age. While in junior high school, she entered several writing and speech competitions and became a top competitor. From there, her passion for writing grew and developed. She began writing poetry and short stories in her spare time and never stopped.

After Tiffany graduated from MacArthur High School in Lawton, Oklahoma, she moved to Dallas, Texas, to pursue an education in Fashion Design. A short time later, Tiffany ended her studies and moved back to her hometown. Once she moved back to her hometown, she pursued a career as an On-Air Radio Personality at K98Jamz

Tiffany moved back to Dallas, Texas to marry and start a family. Over the next seven years, Tiffany and her husband, Eduardo, made a home with each other. During this time, Tiffany was a dedicated stay-at-home mom to three kids.

During the lockdown of 2020, Tiffany decided that she was ready to begin work outside of being a mother. She pursued and earned a 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certification and turned her decade-long Yoga practice into a business that she named Clan Mother Yoga. Her business name pays homage to her indigenous roots and her role as a mother.

Tiffany went on to become certified to teach Yoga for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Thai Bodywork and is currently studying for her second 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certification. Tiffany continues to teach Yoga and has dreams of leading international retreats and opening a global Yoga Retreat Center one day.

How It’s Going

Tiffany is honored to serve as Team Editor for TELL ME BEST and is excited about the possibility of future growth within the company. She enjoys putting her writing and editing skills to use while also having the opportunity to learn and grow with each assignment. One of the best parts is the overall support from the company and co-workers, so being a hands-on mother is still a top priority.
