Kari Apted is an Atlanta-based freelance writer who has been educating and entertaining readers for over 15 years. Her portfolio includes medical blogs, feature stories, humorous newspaper columns and a plethora of home design articles. She adores her husband, Donnie, their four amazing (and mostly grown) children, and the family’s pack of rescued mutts.
