The vehicle comes in three different grades, including SE, XSE, and XSE Premiums. Each is unique yet similar in quality, and there is no wrong choice. Each new grade of the 2023 Toyota Prius will leave its driver flexibility and style.
The 2023 Toyota Prius features an all-new exterior and a solar roof. The exterior design is a one-motion silhouette and has a sportier feel. Additionally, this Prius will be the first to don a “Beyond Zero” badge.

They are looking to be carbon neutral in not only their products but manufacturing and other areas as well. Compared to the previous battery range of 25 miles, the new Toyota Prius has a larger lithium-ion battery that gives the vehicle an increased 50% range. The solar roof of the car allows the car battery to be recharged when parked. This function provided power for car functions such as air conditioning and accessory functions.
The new Toyota Prius features a plug-in hybrid system. This design feature is made to enhance both the fuel economy and the driving performance of the vehicle. Additionally, vehicle speed controllability has been improved.
Safety features come standard on the Toyota Prius but come with new and updated features. One new inclusion is Proactive Driving Assist. This feature allows for gentle breaking and steering support when conditions are met. The Prius also comes with a Pre-Collision System that supports the detection of motorcyclists, pedestrians, and those riding bicycles.
Other safety features on the Toyota Prius include Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist. This feature picks up on 3D objects such as guardrails and offers enhanced lane recognition. Similarly, the car features Like Lane Departure Alerts, which offset the vehicle’s driving path by making slight adjustments that keep the car in its lane.
Many of the safety features on the Toyota Prius are with each other. Sensors, cameras, and other monitoring systems enable the vehicle to detect and correct potential safety hazards. Additionally, some features are designed to take the stress off the driver and assist with things like parking and traffic jams.
A brand new feature of the Toyota Prius is Traffic Jam Assist. Like other safety features, if conditions are met, the system is activated and can assist the driver by providing acceleration and braking assistance and also steering wheel assistance. The safety feature is designed to work under speeds of 25 mph.
