Taco Bell Reviving Fan Favorite Item For Just Two Weeks

It’s no secret that Taco Bell is one of America’s most beloved fast-food chains. They’re known for their delicious food, and their ability to come up with creative menu items that always seem to hit the spot. Recently, they decided to add a new dish to their menu, and it’s The Enchirito, which was discontinued long ago.

Taco Bell is giving fans what they want and reviving a fan-favorite item for just two weeks. According to CNET, The Enchirito, which was discontinued long ago, is making a limited-time comeback and will be available from November 17th through November 30th. Fans of the dish voted overwhelmingly in favor of its return, with 62% of votes cast in a showdown with the Double Decker Taco.


Mexicans are known for their love of spice, and the Enchirito is no exception. This dish, which consists of a soft flour tortilla stuffed with beef, beans, and onions, then rolled up, coated in red sauce, and topped with cheddar cheese, is a menu item at Taco Bell that was discontinued in 2013. However, the company is bringing it back for a limited time only, and fans are sure to be excited.


The Enchirito has 500 calories and 25 grams of fat. In addition to its return, Taco Bell is also introducing a new item to its menu: the Quesalupa. The Quesalupa is a cheesy stuffed chalupa shell that’s filled with beef, beans, cheddar cheese sauce, sour cream, and lettuce.


The Taco Bell Enchirito was created in 1968 by Roberto Gomez, a Taco Bell franchisee in Los Angeles. It quickly became a fan favorite and remained on the menu for over four decades. However, in 2013, Taco Bell decided to discontinue the dish, much to the disappointment of its loyal fans.


For fans of Taco Bell, the Enchirito is a must-try dish. It combines all of the chain’s most popular ingredients—ground beef, beans, and cheese sauce—in one tasty meal that cuts down on carbs by replacing its usual tortillas with lettuce wraps —a healthier option.


The Enchirito was discontinued for several reasons. According to the company, it was removed from the menu because it didn’t fit with Taco Bell’s new image as a healthier restaurant. The brand has also been focusing more heavily on its breakfast menu offerings and has been rolling out new items such as its Quesalupa, which features melted cheese inside of a chalupa shell rather than on top of it.


Surprisingly in its showdown with the Double Decker Taco, the Enchirito received 62% of the votes, according to Taco Bell. In a poll of the chain’s fans, more than 760,000 voted, and the Enchirito was the clear favorite. The Enchirito is among the fast-food giant’s most requested items that are no longer being sold.


We’re not sure why it took Taco Bell so long to bring back the Enchirito, but we’re just glad that it’s finally available again.
